Resolved Updates equal error

I was told the error can be caused by third party confliction...(not sure what the third party is though).
We had proved that the update installed successfully (from the update logs) and so the recommended solution was to;
================
1. Please first go to the following link:

http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

2. After the scanning process, please check if we receive a page with two buttons: Express and Custom

If yes, please click Custom.

3. Then please clear the check boxes in front of the update KB2229593. Meanwhile, please check the check box in front of "Don't notify me about these updates again."

4. Quit the Windows Update window.

After performing the steps above, please check whether the update is still offered.

The update was not offered.

Problem solved.
