Resolved Update your information on WINBBS

Seem to remember there was a page to go in and update things like computer build, OS, etc, but can't seem to locate it.

Nu?

 

On the page you start your Thread, there is a small Icon of a head and shoulders. (upper right}.
If you hover your mouse over that, a Menu should show up.
Personalize is where you should be able to update your PC details.
Don't forget to scroll to the bottom and "Save" before closing out.

 

Ahh, mayhap I'm not looking at the same "page" you are?

If I start a new thread, this is what I see on the UPPER RIGHT corner of the page:


Hovering the cursor on my (undeniably handsome and cheerful) face, produces: nothing at all,
Hovering on the "frayedknotarts" banner produces
(Click.jpg)
while "clicking" on the mugshot itself gives me:
(Click1.jpg)

SO: what am I doing wrong?

(looks like I don't have the attach-a-prety-picture gig sussed out, neither. I'm a mess.)

 

When you open WindowsBBS in your Browser, the immediate line below WindowsBBS.com shows the icon I referred to.

 

The WindowsBBS board offers two styles under browsing preferences at:
https://www.windowsbbs.com/account/preferences
default and modern. The head and shoulders icon only appears in the modern style. OP must be using the default style. He can change the style or click on the down arrow next to his name e.g. nut65
