    Found this with a Google.
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent This is the folder you find it in.
You may find the reason it's on at Startup.

Thank you for the search in Google. Run> shows as "unrecognised". I have two separate Startups, each has no BitTorrent or uTorrent listed, in fact no reference is found other than the HD it is saved on. In Utorrent itself, box "Start with Windows startup" is unticked. uTorrent software is no longer available as a free version other than available in dodgy Web sites, that is my experience.

If you have CCleaner working OK, does it show uTorrent in Tools?

Can you explain this a bit better BobbyScot?
How do you get two Startups?
    Are you switching between HDD's?

Yes, use CCleaner to Delete uTorrent.
I must be missing something here as I can't follow how you would start your computer using msconfig and Task Manager.
Surely you have to push the Power button on the comp to start the process. Once the OS is in action - you access msconfig (Run) and Task Manager by Right click on blank section of Taskbar?

I start the computer normally by pressing the computer's power button, there after if and when required utilise msconfig and Task Manager for any required information. My apologies for misleading you with my posts. I found in msconfig/Task Manager that of no record of uTorrent. How UTorrent opens up in Desktop screen at each "power up" of computer remains unsolved, though a fact is to what is instructing to do so!?

Have you uninstalled it yet? Then test to see if it opens on Startup - if so I would venture to say you probably have some intruder in your system.
Remember, always shut down and reboot after any changes are made to the system.

I require this software periodically and is at present currently installed. I notice it does not open with each power up of computer as it used too to do. It only requires me to close it on power up by clicking the Close or x top right. Not a satisfactory solution I must say.

Have you checked with CCleaner to see if there are leftover Registry keys which might be causing this startup problem?

CCleaner Registry check, shows no reference to Utorrent.

Have you cleared ALL cookies and Temp files from your comp?

I have reset CCleaner to tick boxes for cookies. Will see if this will make a difference. Many Web sites insists on Cookies being abled that I consider unfair, especially BBC.co and others. Error in question is certainly buried deep in the Registry.

Clearing Cookies/Temp, unfortunately fails to solve error. Me think, error is in UTorrent some where in the Registry.

This looks like remaining one of lifes mysteries. You'll just have to continue closing it when it opens randomly.

In my earlier post I suggested dumping uTorrent. What makes you think the error lies within the registry? How many HDDs are you using with this machine. Are they the same HDDs that you were using with your old machine. Like I suggested a couple of years ago maybe you are using to many HDDs. Your new HP is a Gaming computer and may not be designed to use all those drives. Try Uninstalling uTorrent. then use ccleaner to cleanup the reg.
