    File not there

    Dave,

    I don't find the file.

Before I saw your latest reply, I re-booted.
The picture still appeared while shutting down.
After Startup it did not appear. Desktop loaded with
a plain blue background. I found and selected the wallpaper
I've been using (my '55 Chevy).

Do you suggest doing anything else ?

    Thanks - Rich

Odd that it wasn't found.

Never hurts to run an online virus scan. Instructions are here for a couple different ones if you're inclined to do so.

Provided there are no other issues, that should do it.

    Thank You Very Much

    Dave and Pete,

Thank you both very much for all of your help.

I'm very thankful that I found the windowsbbs site,
and that you were both so helpful.

I'm going to run the online scans you pointed me to Dave,
and follow the pointers in Pete's article that was referenced.

    Thanks again - Rich

    Kaspersky scan

    Dave/Pete,

I ran Kaspersky scan, and it found 1 virus, 4 infected objects,
and also noted a bunch of other objects as "locked" (?).

Should I post a copy of the log ?

    Thanks - Rich

    Hi Rich,

The only infected item is an email in your Outlook Express Sent Items folder.

[From "Rich Warner" ][Date Mon, 21 Nov 2005 21:24:04 -0500]/UNNAMED/list.zip]

Delete it and you should be fine. :)
