    Yea!! Thanks a million. That did it. I just disabled it and no more unknown device. That was a good one.

    might have done the same. But now we will not know.

    You may want to scour the Intel site for more info re that feature and if desired, locate the driver & use the feature. Though from what I have read it seems to only be of benefit to users of Windows XP Media Center edition. But it may be of benefit to XP pro & home too. I don't ahve a MB on any of my systems that have that feature thus my research stops here!
