Unable to logon after changing from domain to Workgroup

    I have a windows XP computer which is a office computer, I changed it from a domain to workgroup and restarted the computer. After restarting, I am not able to logon. It does not accept the username and password. Is there any way to change back to domain or logon to the computer in workgroup mode?

    Hi jparikh, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Since you are not able to login using the current user try logging into the administrator account. To do this, on the welcome screen press Ctrl, Alt, Delete twice on the keyboard. You should get a logon window asking to put in the username and password. In the username box type administrator. In the password box type whatever password was used to log into the administrator account. If there was no password then leave the password box blank and hit ok to login.

    Once you login to Windows create a new user account with administrator privledges and use that account for using the PC.

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.
