Hi Johanna, no you are absolutely right the option that I mention is not for saving the picture (save as) only if you e-mailing the photo.
It would be a little long winded e-mailing them back to yourself.
Pete C is the man here that can give you the good oil on resizing for save as.

    Hawk22,
PeteC has probably forgotten more about digital imaging than I've ever learned. Have you ever seen his work? Awesome.

I know what you mean about people and their pic sizes. I got a 1.5Mb pic of a friend's dog yesterday. I have a cable connection, and it wasn't a big deal, but I wonder if the dial up and AOL customers she sent the pic to had trouble? The high res pic was so big that it didn't even fit on my screen, which kind of ruined the intended effect, when up popped part of a dog paw. Yes, nice dog, but a 30K pic would have been sufficient for all of us to see what she wanted us to. I don't need (or want) to count his whiskers!

    Hi there Johanna,
Yes I know,Superb I have seen some of his work and Pete is giving me a lot of help outside the BBS on Photo Editing I think Pete is one of the most generous Guy's around.
And Ohh.. do I know about that, I have a Cousin in Switzerland and he loves to send me Photos from his Holidays and I love them, but I am one of them who is on dial-up, everytime he used to send me pic's I would leave the PC and take the Dog for a walk or something it would take forever and 3 days to download, till I hammered it into him to use the XP resize. I use 1024X768 and if you use that setting the pic. just fills the screen nicely.
    have a nice day
