Ok you won't believe this one:::::After your last message and trying what you said i thought maybe why comand prompt could not find the file was because I had deleted the file in Windows Explorer.
(Neil another person was helping me and asked if I went to start all programs accessories Windows Explorer desktop did I see the file there and could I delete it. Yes I could see the file and I did delete it.)

So I went into recycle bin and placed the file back into Windows Explorer The file was Trucker Vet Info..psd
I tried to open it up and a message came up Windows cannot open this file so I clicked for Windows to check on Internet to see what program would be able open up the file. It turns out it was Adobe Photo Shop. I used right click Open With (scrolled down) to photo shop and clicked open the file(in PS) and deleted it and now it is gone from Windows Explorer and my desktop. Strange or what. Unbelievable and how did it end up in this format I will never know but it is gone finally. Unless it amazingly appears again. Phew I learned a lot today.

Thank you so much for your help goddez1

    Hi SoozeeQ.

I am happy I was able to help you in finding your solution. Odd that unlocker was unable to get rid of this for you. Having an illegally or improper file name can be a nuisance. 2 periods at end or before extension seemed to throw xp into a hissy fit. You may not have adjusted your file options yet, to show hidden files and extensions. The view settings options may cut down on some problems you may have in the future. See:

Your welcome and thank you for updating post with the outcome. (and taking the time to mark it as resolved.)
