I have a ATI mobility radeon video adaptor and am advised to set the refresh rate at 75Hz, but the only option I have is 60Hz, can I change this or do I really to?
    Thanks

    Thanks Ari

I have followed the instructions re my system specs. If I havent done this correctly perhaps you could tell me.
Thanks also for your generous apology (unnecessary) when I complained in another thread about a reply from nozofram. Im quite old and take medication which sometimes makes it slow for me to analyse things properly, so I perhaps dont follow the jargon of experienced users. Any way thanks for your courtesy.

Not every LCD monitor will let you alter the refresh rate. Most laptops don't. My Dell laptop is also set to 60Hz. My desktop LCD can be set to either 60 or 75Hz.

Can't say I see any difference. This was an issue back in the time of CRT displays.
