Resolved Unable to access some secure sites after PC upgrade

    Update: Problem may be related to the PSU (500w), which was new with the upgrade. I replaced it with my old 500w unit and it seems to be working OK now, although the problem did occur a couple of times immediately after switching the PSU's. I have ordered a 650w PSU on the assumption that 500w might not be quite enough. To be continued.....

    Now comes the confusion factor: I hooked the PSU back up that I thought was causing the problem just to verify my diagnosis and guess what......yep, problem's still gone. Oh well, so much for a logical approach.
