I recently purchased a preinstalled Win 11 computer. I am wanting to transfer the Firefox bookmarks from Win 10 to Win 11, also Firefox. When I backup the bookmarks from 10 it wants to backup as a shortcut. If I transfer the bookmark shortcut how will the Win 11 Firefox read the shortcut to install?

    1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
    2. Click on the Show your bookmarks button and select Show All Bookmarks.
    3. Click on the Import and Backup tab and select Export Bookmarks to HTML.
    4. Navigate to your thumb drive (or what ever you are using) and on your thumb drive, enter a file name and click Save to save the exported . html file
Exporting it same but in reverse.

I always copy my Firefox profile folder from old computer & copy it to the new computer. Then set Firefox to use profile in that place instead of default folder. It brings in all my extensions, settings, saved passwords & bookmarks.
