    I had already searched the registry as well as the hard drive for Incredimail. I found one entry in the registry for it and nothing on the hard drive.

    I don't see anything here related to Incredimail. The virus scanner seems to have many entries but I have never used Escan.

    I did notice it has mail entries.

    I would run the cleaners scan and defrag and forget the email as long as it works.

    If you wanted you could completely uninstall the Escan then try to correct the smtp.

    If it corrects then it would be the Escan which I now suspect it is. After uninstalling and correcting the smtp setting the Virus scanner could be reinstalled and would probably maintain the setting.

    This at least would pinpoint the problem.

    If you uninstall Escan reboot and run the Regcleaners I sent before correcting the SMTP.
