So, just so's I understand you guys, you are saying that, by hook or crook, Ghost 2003 (and one would assume Ghost 9) do enable you to restore your complete exact computer to a new hard disk from backups made to a USB drive, right?

Frankly, I don't care how they do it as long as they can do it.

I can vouch for Ghost 2003 and it would surprise me if Ghost 9 couldn't.

By the way, if my information is correct, when You buy Ghost 9, Ghost 2003 comes bundled but doesn't get installed by default.

    Sp2?

Of course you should install SP2, just as you should have left SP1 on. Any time Microsoft finds it necessary to issus a totally new Service Pack, put it on. Neither slowed my computer down. And both enhanced the usability. One more thing abouot SP2. You don't all the junk programs as I call them, ones such as Spybot and so forth. All you need is a good anti-virus, AVG being about the best in my opinion.
