Telling Windows to choose one of two NICs

    I'd recommend you avoid having more than one NIC set with a default gateway. Use "Route add" to add pathways to specific networks not directly attached to the multi-homed PC or accessible via the default gateway.

    You should be able to select the adapter and use the arrows on the right to move it up or down.

    Windows will attempt to network using the connections in the order listed. If it finds a network, it does not keep looking for a better one.
