System Restarts automatically or program hangs

Thanks for the follow-up. I was wondering if you might have got stuck in Driver Verifier.

Before your friend goes out and buys RAM, he might want to try disabling Sandra (at least the Sandra Data Service). RpcDataSrv.exe is implicated in his application crash data.

It seems to be a long shot, but perhaps Sandra is getting into the middle of the BSODs??? Might be worth a try anyway. I'd hate to see him replace the RAM and still get the same BSOD only to find out Sandra was the cause.

The services can be accessed via Start > Run > [FONT= "Fixedsys"]services.msc[/FONT]

 

Oh we already uninstalled it. For some reason it doesn't want to work on his computer. I was gonna use it to get more information about his computer and use the memory benchmarks but i didn't want to load... He has had these random restarts even before i came in and install sandra and stuff. Even before he played WoW and all he did was go on the Internet (using Mozilla Firefox )
