Ok-somehow I got the .exe Trojan infection. I think someone managed to get it into accu-weather update--don't matter really.I did everything I'm supposed to do repair disc-set windows to a previous point in safemode. Now everything is fine-do I still have this infection? and why did the almighty bitdefender miss it? I don't think it can start itself is that right? Do I need to do anything else?

    Hi SP,

Repost this in the Malware Forum. If you got a "bug ", chances are that there's still a bunch of nasties in there.

Do as jpChris has suggested and follow this instruction. It is very likely that the restore and repair routine will not have cleaned out all infections, better to be safe than sorry.

After you have your system completely clean download this free antivirus from microsoft and uninstall your old protection. Don't be tempted to run both as that will cause conflicts.
