[Stop 0x0000000a BSOD]

    Hello this is my situation,

    I was just on the internet watching movies and all of a sudden i get a bsod. Now when i boot up my computer it will start up normally then just crash after 10 seconds.
    The message i get on my bsod says driver Irql not_equal_or_less_than Stop 0x0000000a, I can't boot it in safe mode either. I am using a Hp g62 model

    it does have dump its just that i can't access my laptop at all since it crashes once its booted up and Thank you

    When restarting, press the F8 key before Windows starts.

    Choose Last Known Good Configuration

    If that doesn't work, try Safe mode with networking

    I tried both and it wont work.
    Also it says storport.sys

    Boot off the Windows 7 DVD and on the Install Now screen choose Repair your computer.

    I'd 1st try a Startup Repair, if that doesn't work try a System Restore.

    That's not the only thing it says though... Full & precise error messages are helpful.

    When you say boot off the windows 7 dvd, i have the disk but when i start my laptop up it doesnt go to the install screen how can i access the disk?

    You'll have to change the Boot order in your BIOS to boot off the DVD before checking the HDD.

    To access your BIOS, look at the manuals that come with your system (usually it is the F2 key you'll have to press when the computer is booting).
