SSD 2.5 ---> USB3 adapter

    Tip: Always make the connection to the drive prior to plugging in the power, unless the power supply has an ON-OFF switch. Some have a switch, some don't. Wait a few seconds until the drive powers up and then connect to the computer. This is especially important for older spinning drives and cdroms.

    Well ****! Got the device. Plugged the drive into it and connected the USB cable. Connected the power to the drive; Plugged the USB cable into the PC. NADA!!! The drive still does not show up in either Device Manager OR Disk Manager. When the USB end of the device cable is plugged into the PC, there is a small blue light that comes on on the device, but that's it! :-(
