Yeah, I'll keep an eye on that, however at <$40 a pop, I'm not too worried about.

I have just received my Creative Sound Blaster Z SE Internal PCI-e sound card. Five minutes quick install on the X570 AORUS Gigabyte M/B and we have sound again.
I can now rightly assume this was why this Re-manufactured board failed. The sound did work for about 6 months, then stopped.
The new card sounds better than the original or is this me just New Year wishing. Ha Ha.

Thanks. I'll pick one up right after I recover from Christmas :).

So, apparently the night MS did an update my sound card gave up the ghost. I naturally blamed the update. I replaced the sound card and everything is back to normal, or as normal as it gets around here. Retiredlearner - thanks for all of your help.

I'm sure mine was the reason the Motherboard was Re-manufactured. It had nothing to do with an MS update.
The 6 months warranty had just expired. "Murphy's Law" jumped in..
I'm very happy with the SoundBlaster card I installed. Everything works great.:D'
Glad to be of help to get your noises back.;)
