I am getting a 2nd wd caviar blk 640gb hdd for my system to set up raid 0 using the intel matrix storage system. I know that when installing vista I have to click on "install drivers" before I partition, (I should format before I install drivers I assume). My question is this: 1.Can I just Insert the mobo driver disk at that point or will I need to put them on a flash drive. 2. If I do need to put the drivers on a flash drive which drivers do I need.(just intel matrix drivers or others too.) thank you for your help

We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :)

We have no idea which mobo you are using, but you will find all detail on how to setup RAID there.

I am not a user of RAID, but you do appreciate that RAID 0 merely makes 2 drives act as 1? If you are looking to maintain an identical image of the data from one drive to another (mirroring) you need RAID 1. All this should be explained in your manual - start there :)
