It should be listed in Control Panel, Add/Remove programs. I forgot to mention that you will be prmopted to install that ask toolbar. How is the computer running at this point?

It is running pretty well now. The only problem is this thing with the monitor.
Different colors , mainly pink flickering on certain areas. I guess it's coincidence. I thought it might have to do with the toolbar add on but I uninstalled it and it's still there. Is there anything to test the video card and/or monitor?

I am glad the computer is running good. About the color flickering, have you tried using a different monitor to test the issue? The monitor could be dying on you. Also if you tried a known good monitor and you are still getting flickering and werid colors then its the graphics card. Have you tried updating your card with the latest drivers? What graphics card do you have? If you can take a graphics card out of another computer I would try putting it in your computer to test and see if your card is bad.

If that's the graphics card it's up to date. When I get a chance I'll try another monitor. The one I have hooked up is a flat LC screen, I have an old style monitor. to try.

Ok. Yes that is the graphics card you listed. If you try a different monitor and you still are getting weird flickering then your graphics card is going bad.

It now seems I get a color problem with the monitor every time I run the auslogics disc defragmenter or registry defragmenter. I then disconnect the monitor and plug it back in and it's fine. Just to make a note in case anyone else reports this.
