   my computer wont let me run a game because i need shader model 2.0. can you suggest a free way of me getting it

   Now, if your graphics card doesn't have support for a shader model, you'll need to get a new card.
   
   But unless your graphics card is more than 5 years old, the hardware support for Shading should be available. Check the manufacturers website for info.
