Resolved sfc /scannow & win10

Upgraded from 8.1 to 10 - no problems.

The win logo in lower left hand corner will show the command menu when right-clicked but
left clicking does not bring up the start page(with tiles). actually it does
nothing at all.

I tried sfc /scannow and it gets to 76% complete then gives an error of
"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation "..

Win10 appears to be working fine (from desktop mode) but was wondering if
anyone else has encountered this condition of the start page not showing
when the logo is pressed?

Web searches showed lots of windows resource problems but no real
solutions....
