search results redirected

    something strange is happening to my search results. when i click on a search result link the page gets re directed to a sales site such as google or ask jeeves, sometimes it goes to a site that says windows scan dedected a virus please update or dowload a scan programe. i have mcafee security centre from bt as part of my broadband and this detects no viruses. any ideas please

    Go to the Malware & Virus Removal forum .....

    Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested in a new thread.

    Just because Mcafee comes up with nothing does not necessarily mean that there is no malware on your computer.
