Resolved Seamonkey Email Problems

    I've been using Seamonkey since it first came out and love it....but...

    Shortly after loading the latest version of Seamonkey (Twice) I have strange problems. When going from Email to Email there is a lag and right clicking to get "Tag" - "Mark" etc. the little box appears but the selections do not show up for many seconds or not at all. Actually, this happens on other functions: EDit - View - Etc. too, but I use Tag a lot.

    Compacted and De-fragged. Newer PC, Fast...steady service. Browser works fine.

    About the same time on boot the message comes up: "Could not load file or assemble MOM. Implementation. System cannot find the file specified."

    A while back I deleted Java. The only thing left is Javasetup7u21

    ???!!! Hope you can help. Happy New Year!

    Never used SeaMonkey, but .....
    This is an AMD Graphics issue - see the first hits here

    Whether or not it is related to your SeaMonkey problem I don't know - a possibility, but it needs fixing.

    Please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions! Have to assume that you have AMD graphics without this info.

    Sorry it took so long. Followed instructions (Wet armpits). Netframe uninstalled and re-installed. AMD would not give me the correct driver. Found another site. ALL EMAIL PROBLEMS OUTLINED ABOVE RESOLVED!!!

    But....

    Seamonkey update in the last day or two. Wanted to check my Email settings today but was not allowed. "Special account or This account already exists" come up. This is a first. Any suggestions on this? Should I make this a new post???
