Resolved screen goes blank after bios starts up in win xp

    I know this thread has been marked as Resolved, but, wanna try something cheap and stupid? Replace the MoBo battery.

    A flat mobo battery will not stop the PC from booting it just reverts to default settings.

    Askinson, I was just reading about a similar problem in another forum and they ran out of ideas (just like this one) then they tried a reboot with the keyboard disconnected and it worked, might be worth a try;)
