    I still have the uninstall exe file on my desktop.

    I thought I had removed msjvm with Revo, but when I ran the uninstall tool from major geeks it removed a bunch of things and I got messages from ms indicating the program was being removed from my system.

    Now I am wondering what to do with the uninstall tool.

    Uninstall it. Either with itself if it has one or with Revo.

    Just delete it. AFAIK the uninstaller does not get installed, it just runs as itself.

    Next, go to Sun's site and get the latest Java Runtime Environment for Windows. Here's a direct link to the download:

    http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=58124

    Save the file to Desktop, double-click to install it, delete it when finished.

    Then mark this thread as solved.

    Near the top of your thread you'll see Thread Tools. Click the down arrow to expand the drop down menu, at the bottom of it you'll see Mark this thread as solved. Click on it to mark your thread as solved.
