    Hi Bob,

Can you quote the entire error message please? Also if this is shareware (which google hits imply) please provide a download link.

this version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running . Check your computer System information to see whether you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 bit (664 bit) Version of the program and then contact the software publisher.

    (Software publisher did not respond.)

    Which version of Windows x64?

If Pro or above you can run XP Mode (free from MS incl a copy of XP Pro) and your program will run in that.

Had the same error message trying to load Quicken 2000 into 7 Pro x64. Installed and runs a treat in XP Mode.

We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :)

You can't legally install XP Mode on Win 7 HP. MS reserves that right only for people using Win 7 Pro or higher.

However if you have a legal copy fo WinXP lying around, you can download & install VirtualBox,install XP [or whatever other OS you require - no limits & no problems] & then your program.

But please note that this is an independent & seperate OS and any protection of underlying OS is NOT available to this OS. So you would have to install antivirus/firewall on this OS also.

Download & install VirtualBox. Its a software with similar capabilities as MS Win XP Mode. You can install & run any OS of your choice in VirtualBox.

After installing VirtualBox you have to install WinXP in the VirtualBox. Please read End user documentation for more details. Then you install all programs that you want to run under that OS.

    Since it's pretty old software
there's probably some driver that's not compatible with x64.

So use a Virtual Machine as suggested by others.
