[Rollback Windows 8 install to Windows 7?]

    Not possible - an install DVD is licenced for 1 computer only - although you can make a second install on another computer that install will not activate.

    Be careful using orphan Windows disks - particularly previously used disks, as the installation can be fraught with activation issues
    Recovery disks distributed to consumers form part of the license spec if used to reinstall Windows and can be model family specific

    Since I tried Windows 8 for a week, I stopped. When I trace back how long I've stopped using Windows at home, it's 2 months already. Metro? Or Retro?Very much a stone age product, feel like using the Lotus Notes early versions. Funny.

    Arie, you're right. WE JUST CANNOT TOLERATE METRO.
