    Hej
I just upgraded my computer from Win 7 to 8 Pro danish version and after this upgrade I receive a very annoying pop-up from Google (I think) asking me:
Kom hurtigere til Google. Føj Google til din startside. "Ja" - "Nej tak "

    In English somthing like:
Get faster to Google. Make Google to Your Startpage. "Yes" - "No "

Every time I start my IE 10 in Windows 8, then I get this offer.

I have tried to check about block the pop-ups and everything is blocked.
I have tried to install SuperAntiSpyware and AdFender but that didn´t help
and Windows 8 Pro´s Defender don´t stop it, so ...

Do any of You in this forum knowing (and mayby have solved) that problem?

Hi bear1066. Do you have Google Chrome installed?

What is your home page set to in Internet Explorer?

Can you post a screenshot of the message?

    Hi Evan

    Thanks for Your reply.

I have now done what You advised me to hope i Works :)

No I have IE 10, Firefox and Opera.
And the startpage in all 3 is "Google.dk "
Therefore is it really irritating to receive this "offer" everytime I start IE.

How do I ad a picturefile to this tread. I have a small jpg picture (32kb) but I can´t see how to attach that file to my reply to You ?

Well, yes, you'll get this "offer" if you have set Google.dk as your home-page. Click the x in the right corner and it should go away and not return.

    Hi

That was also what I belived the first time I saw it.
But I have been working the last 3 days with the Win 8 upgrade and following user setups not all days but from time to time :)

And it comes back everytime I start IE 10 on my computer.

    Friendly regards

As we said: part of Google's web page. Set another home page if you don' like it.

Although answering NO or clicking the X should get rid of it. Unless of course you are blocking Google's cookie, then you are 'shooting yourself in your foot' so to speak :)

    Hi SpywareDr

I also thought that is was, but I was not 100% sure. Therefore my new tread here.
    You never know our days.
I was thinking on both Google and Microsoft in some agreement or ...

But whatever it is it´s really annoying that someone can get in to Your private computer as They like and they don´t ask about permission or give You a change to say NO.

For the change to say NO don´t Work :-(

    Friendly regards

    Hi Arie

    That was the solution.

I should just undo the popup protection in IE and then say NO thanks.

After that the "offer" didn´t come again

So now it should be gone and I have made the popup protection active again and it seems that the "offer" don´t popup anymore.

Thanks to You all for the help.

    Friendly regards
