Broni very kindly helped me get rid of my trojans and computer is now clean. I tried to access yahoo games cribbage but just white screen. At bottom of page add ons was blocked, so not sure if this has anything to do with it or related to my computer being cleaned. Any help would be appreciated and not sure if this post is in the correct forum.

    Hi there..thanks for reply

Well, have downloaded java, updated to IE8 and still same problem.

It only occurs with yahoo games, cribbage where I want to go.

At bottom of that window on status bar, is like a round wheel cog with red block and when I hover over it, says manage add ons.

Do not know what else to try as this only happens with this one site.

    regards

    Joan

    Hi...

Well, I think I managed to get my games access sorted out.

I clicked on manage add ons and found various things disabled so decided to try a process of elimination.

I clicked on web browser applet which was disabled and enabled it and closed.

I then tried to access yahoo games and it worked!!!

Thank you for your help and replies, and hopefully all my woes are sorted out now.

    regards

    Joan

Glad to hear that you managed to sort it out - I could not find any reference to the Add-on icon - it does not show up when running IE without add-ons.
