I am trying to disable DW20.exe.. Its the MS Office error
reporting tool... I don't have the app installed so had to come from MS works or installed/updated by default...
MS Knowledge base states that you can add the value of 1 to four (4) Reg keys to disable the DW20.exe reporting tool. OK cool....BUT the reg keys are not there to edit...1st key is
    HKCU\Software\Polices\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting\DW....
Only two items under this key are [] SystemCertificates
    [] Windows
This does not jive with the KB article....
    This system XP x64
    Thanks

Hi lanker, have you disabled "Error Reporting" from your Control Panel.
If not, go to System > System Properties > Hardware > Advanced > click on Disable error reporting, and " But notify me when critical errors occur ".
This should solve your problem, rather then meddling in the Registry.

I really don't have an issue getting into the Registry..... Thats the Best Teacher of all... And is how I learned most all this computer tweaks/building and what not...
Would really like just to reset the error reporting tool....But yea for now, selective disable windows programs error reporting.....There is a great article in "All About Computers" which gets into this issue....
    With some Registry Key Creations.....
I had google this to death with Very Limited Results....I'am the type who would rather Fix the Issue, not just disable/band Aid it....
