redirect virus removal

Hi, i'm having to use my gf's laptop to post as my laptop wont let me on this site. I think I have the redirect virus along with the problem when I try to type the address in the url bar, most sites, like this one, I get the error box that says "Internet explorer can not open the site" " Operation aborted. I've tried to find a spyware type software online for my system, windows me, but none will work??? Any help will be greatly thanked. Jerry

Hi Jerry,

You're probably better asking for assistance in the Malware and Virus Removal board. When you do point out that you are using ME as some of their tools may not be compatible.

 

wow, thanks for the quick responses, i will try to use the link you gave me but my computer might give me that error and won't load the site but i will try mark and thanks. I can't seem to find a spyware or malware or even virus software that will work with my old ME. its like its just to outdated

 

hey mark, I just tried the link on my computer and sure enough it gave me the error message so I opened it up on this computer and it looks like its for newer systems, not ME? I will post this in proper forum as suggested, thanks

 

It is the correct forum for your problem, but as Wildfire said in his post you must point out that you have ME.
