Most bsod's are caused by either corrupt drivers (ususally video) or bad RAM. I had this problem and installed Driver Detective. It found several outdated drivers and it installed them. Since then, I had only one, and I believe it was due to 2 malware detection programs interfering with each other. I haven't seen it again since I decided to run only one at a time. I used to get the bsod quite often. It was worth the investment in the program to rid myself of the pesky blue screens.

I can't offer much else. If you track down the drivers and swap out the RAM, I can only think that IF it worked fine in Vista 32bit, there is some sort of problem with the CPU running under 64bit. As I said, it may require a BIOS upgrade or check that the CPU is listed as compatible with the motherboard.
