    Hey Arie,

How come you need more than one license for Vista? And where in the U.S. are you visiting? ;) Maybe I can give you some pointers as I've lived in many places. :)

That was something (UXGA display) that I did not want.

    I have a 15.4" screen, so WSXGA+ = 1680×1050, while WUXGA = 1920×1200

    Your UXGA will be 1600 × 1200.

Yea, I know. 1400x1050 (SXGA+) is awesome. I would never want to go XGA again. UXGA (1600x1200) will give me that much more desktop space. How come you don't like the high resolution? Icons and text too small?

    Ha... I've got 2 PC's & 1 laptop running Vista, so that's 3 licenses.

I'll be 'based' in Oregon. Currently only 2 trips planned:

    1. To Seattle/Redmond for the MVP Global conference
    2. To CA: http://www.worldmarktheclub.com/resorts/ac/

I'll probably also return to Roche Harbor on San Juan Island, after a nice visit in 2005 there... I just have to have their Rock Salt-Roasted rib of beef. Best I ever had!

I'll be planning more trips later :)

I think 1680×1050 on a 15.4" screen is as small as I want to go.

Heck, I'm running 1280×1024 on my 19" LCD's at my desktop.

There's a program called LiquidView or something where you can adjust the native resolution to a lower one without losing any screen quality. It works very well.

CA, huh? So you'll be in my neck of the woods. ;)
