Resolved Quicktime plugin crashes

I'm not sure if this should go under Facebook or here but I keep getting this message when I go to my web page in Facebook "QuickTime plugin has crashed ". It works fine in XP but not in Win 7 ultimate. Any ideas why?

 

Didn't know that FB used QT. I have never had it installed and can do anything that I want to do on FB. Win XP, 7, 8 and 8.1
The games use Flash. At least the Texas Holdem Poker does. Think that they all do.

Bad download. Uninstall QT and see what happens. You can always reinstall it or use QT Alterative. Smaller and does the same thing.

 

EGG ON MY FACE!!!!! I meant "Firefox" not "Facebook" so here is the RIGHT post: I keep getting this message when I go to my web page in Firefox "QuickTime plugin has crashed ". It works fine in XP but not in Win 7 ultimate. Any ideas why? I must be getting old or sumpin!

 

Try starting FF in Safe Mode. This is different than starting a computer in Safe Mode. More at the link below.
