Recently had to repair (soda spill) a keyboard on an HP Pavillion Entertainment Center laptop..everything went well ... I can get wireless connectivity for updates but I can't get Internet Explorer to connect... I downloaded Firefox onto a flashdrive and installed it and I get the same web page and server not found...I reset the time and date in order to get the updates... I made sure the work offline wasn't activated ... when I do a diagnose problem I have connectivity just no browser ..what am I overlooking ... Thank you

Hi clitwin13. Try opening Internet Explorer and clicking Tools< Internet Options< Connections Tab< LAN Settings button. Make sure all the checkboxes are unchecked and when done click Ok to close the LAN settings window. Click Ok again to close the Internet Options window. Restart Internet Explorer and see if it loads.

Also what Operating System is the computer running and what version of Internet Explorer is installed?
