Novatech e-mailed me, asking for a photo of the package received. They say that the supplied version is not "Retail" but OEM and does not show same symbols, reasons for the low price £79.99. Its just the disk, license key which is basically all you need. Surely Novatech knows what the package looks like or maybe they do not know their stored products.

Mine was in a cardboard sleeve with a jewel case inserted in it and sealed with a shrink wrap. At the top of that sleeve there is a heading in bold letters OEM System Builder Pack LICENSED FOR DISTRIBUTION ONLY IN UNITED STATES AND CANADA Yours should show for distribution in the UK or something to that effect. Mine shows Made in the USA(Puerto Rico). Does this packaging description come close to what you have. If its possible could you attach a picture in your next post.

My copy received has no resemblance to your noting. It is in a sealed white card 7 "x5" envelope with print as shown in my previous posting. I have photo front/back of package, unfortunately due to lack of remembering as to what is required to attach photo to a reply.

Yes and located the two photos and uploaded them. Showed short red line next to long green line.

What size are the photos? If the sum is greater than 250 KB the limit is exceeded and will not upload ....

Try uploading in 2 posts - 1 photo in each

So in other words the product is yours no matter what. Could this sleeve possibly be surrounding a jewel case? Are you going to open the package? If you do you should have a peel off sticker with the OS and product key. You should be able to affix that sticker to your computer. My OEM DVD came in a jewel case that was surrounded by a sleeve that looks similar to yours. Even though the photos you posted are hard to depict if the sleeve is surrounding a jewel case.

As you say, that I have no options, a bit of a lucky dip as to what I finally find. Many software retailers that I dealt with in the past, all pointed out that any returns required the seal to be intact. One thing for sure, Novatech will never again receive an order from me.
In this instance, no jewel case included. Certainly I will use an empty jewel case to safely keep the disk from accidental damage.
My sincere thanks to all for the assistance..

Did you receive a product key and a COA Label?

I have looked at the card package and certainly there is no Product Key or COA showing, unless it requires to break the seal. Novatech still insists, that for £80 you receive a Disk and license and no refunds, end of matter. Why is it I feel short changed with this transaction.

Bobby - see below 2 images of my OEM Windows 8.1. The first is the outer cardboard package, the second the inner cardboard package with the COA sticker and Product Key (blurred for obvious reasons!). Jewel cases died many years ago!

    Hope this helps.

Peter, the left thumb nail is the same as the one I received, even the Red coloured tape that seals the card wrapper. The second image is not imminent, but could be inside the package. Thanks, help is always a bonus to me. Probably I am over anxious not to make a mess of my computer.

At this point in time with Novatech insisting NO REFUNDS. Any way you look at it you are going to have to break the seal. You have nothing to lose. Everything is most likely inserted inside the sealed package. With this being Halloween you are more likely to receive a treat then to be tricked. Let us know the outcome.
