Resolved Problems with soundcard recognition

[although my other older software is still refusing to recognize any input for recording]
Is this "older" software compatible with W10?
Does the software manufacturer have updated drivers suitable for W10?

 

There is nothing on their website about updated drivers I think they will just suggest purchasing the latest version of the software but I will contact them to find out.

 

I have downloaded the latest version of the software and it still refuses to recognise any useable record input despite options being available in it's options menu

 

Have a look at these links and see if there is any fix to help you. Gigabyte Audio driver download seems quite specific and would need to followed precisely.

As the new soundcard comes with it's own driver and I am not using the soundcard driver on my motherboard I do not think that updating the motherboard driver will help and it also requires flashing the Bios and I do not want to risk toasting my motherboard, As the links you have kindly provided deal with no sound ( Not the problem I am having ) I do not think they cover my problem, I have found settings in Audacity that seem to work so I will use that as my default music recorder, many thanks for all your help
