Resolved Problems with clean install of windows 7

    Ok so here is my problem. I just did a clean install of windows on my pc. The install want smooth but now I am finding that some where along the line my pc locked down My solid state drive for "system Reserved ". I have more then one hard drive. I installed windows on the other drive. If more information is needed please let me know.

    where do I need to go to change that setting??

    for some reason my SSD has been allocated as the windows back up drive.. any way to change that?

    Hi Slipsilk, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Since this is a clean install, I would format the drive again and perform the clean installation but this time unplug the hard drive that you don't want Windows to install onto. This way Windows 7 will install properly on the hard drive that is active in your system.

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

    Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

    Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.
