Problems Updating AVG, free version

It isn't anything you are doing. I just tried it on my end. Get the same error messages. Has to be AVG site. Give it a couple hrs and try again.

 

Yesterday I also changed to "Lonny's" fix and it worked perfectly... but I have a question. When I click on the "Download from server Tab ", two choices are available... being the original "grisoft.cz and grisoft.com ", the latter being the default. Does not Lonny's fix provide 3 locations?
Anyway about 3 hours ago I found another "fix" which provided 4x locations. Copied that file in, and still the same 2x location choice view. About 15 minutes ago I found a Nine location file (see 3rd post down/Donna). Loaded that file in... yet tab down still shows the same two locations in view. Why does the tab list not display all nine URL's(?) Does it use the list as a "wild card select" via the .com view? Oh by the way, when I used the above 9x URL file, it polled correctly... said I was upto date.

 

All I know is I've got the 3-url .ini file and www.grisoft.com works for me.
