Glad to hear the printer is working fine!
No, I do not have Kerio and ZA installed at the same time. I use the Kerio as it has less overhead on the system than ZA. Kerio is more rule based, ZA is easier for someone new to firewalls, you just click to allow and to remember and that's it, mostly. While Kerio will do that for you, it is asking about TCP and UDP ports as groups, and whether connecting In or Out. When coming In, it is asking if you want to have a port open for connections to be initiated from outside, ZA calls this "asking for server rights ". ZA allows all ports, TCP and UDP, ICMP [pings], when the application is allowed.
I just put the links as a service to others, as they are visible in every thead I have responded to.
You might be interested in the IEspyads.Zip link, it puts a number of ad/spyware sites into your Restricted Zone. Read through the webpage about setting up the Restricted Zone, and these sites will not be able to put so much as a cookie on you.
But, if one of these sites has an ad coming from it, all that happens is you see the ad.
In the bottom right of IE, if a webpage has more that just an ad from one of these sites, it will say Mixed instead of Internet, and if the webpage is actually one of these sites themselves, it will say Restricted.

Thanks...but I never use IE...I hate that browser!!!

I will install Kerio and see how it works. A friend of mine ia a software architect and he told me I didn;t need a firewall as I didn' have a erver and my computer is not always on...but I just feel safer with ita firewall...

The purpose of a firewall is 2 fold. Not just to keep stuff from coming in, but to see and allow/disallow what wants to talk back to the net from your computer.

Click on the Shield's UP link at the webpage, and you can have your ports scanned and will let you know if any are Open, Closed, or Stealth [no reply at all].
There is a Leaktest available there also, it will test your firewall to see if anything can get out that you do not want, be sure not to allow it access.
There are other things there you may find interesting, and some good info for reading.
I don't blame you for not using IE, too many things you need to do to it.

Thanks...I am very familiar with Steve Gibson's site and I already have LeakTest and ShiedlsUP...I gp back to the old OptOut that he first came out with and has discontinued.

Steve does a great service for us all, and he doesn't back down when challenged. I have a lot of respect for him.
