Possible hard drive crash

    FYI, recuva didn't work. It did identify a bunch of files but just put a bunch of #'s next to the. A friend had a program called R-studio I uesed that worked perfectly and recovered all the data if anyone else winds up with this problem

    Glad to hear you found a means of recovering the data - thanks for the update. I've not had cause to use Recuva, but it's flavour of the month on the BBS - must work for some folk :)
