Looks good. :) Johanna's suggestions are good, valid recommendations. I second them. ;)

Open Spybot and click immunize in the left pane, then immunize again, this time from above with the green + beside it. Click the link below that for SpywareBlaster, download, install and update.
    Download and install IESpyads.

That will give you an added layer of protection against unwanted parasites.

    Johanna,

How do I delete previous Restore points? When I went to System Restore, my options were to restore to an earlier point, create a new restore point, and undo a restore.

Right click My Computer and choose properties. On system restore tab, check the box to turn off. OK out. Reboot and uncheck the box. OK out. A new restore point will be created.

Whoops  I see you asked Johanna. Sorry, beat you to it :D

Yeah, Dave, since when is your name "Johanna "???

Bucksone Just wanted to give you a pat on the back for sticking with it, carefully following Dave's advice and not being intimidated by the technical parts. :) You cleaned up quite a mess, clearly shown by how your logs have steadily improved. Because you seem like you care about doing things well, and for anyone else who has been following this thread, or may see it in the future, here are some links for more reading:

Congratulations, Bucksone, and post back if you run into more questions.
