At the top of the website page, click the browse button....select a file off of your hard drive....click open in the dialog box....the file name will appear on their webpage...click the "Send" icon beside the browse button...the rest is automatic...

    Cheers

    Best AV is Nod32

In the past I have used Norton and McAfee and only had problems with them. Then switched to Kaspersky which became a monster in system resources. Today happily using Nod32 - it is the best performing, the least resource hungry - simply the only AV program I am happy with.

I was convinced of the efficacy of NOD32 by the fact that the entire ministry of Education for the Province of Ontario Canada chose it as their anti-virus system. I've had it now for six months and heartily agree... a top-notch AV program with hourly updates, very good to system resources and a great scanning engine.:)

I'm using the Cox High Speed Internet Security Suite (Authentium product), which takes care of A/V, Spyware, Pop-ups, and Firewall all in one package. I and others in this area using it with IE7 are experiencing problems.

It is obvious from all your posts that most of you, staff and members, are in favor of NOD 32. You've convinced me on that one. But what do you use for the other features: Firewall, Pop-ups, Spyware.

I gave up on Norton long ago and have no intentions of re-installing that. From what I've heard and read, I wouldn't do much better with McAfee.

I've heard from a few techs that my Windows Firewall is as good as any others. IE7 has some Pop-up controls, and I am already using Windows Defender. Can I just add NOD 32, get rid of Cox Security package, and get by with the other protection software that I already have?

The problem with the Windows firewall is that it only blocks incoming traffic (not outgoing). I use Kerio firewall (which initially offers a month for free and then remains free but with fewer options... however, even the free version is a perfectly viable firewall and highly recommended). Zone Alarm (free or paid version) is another firewall that you might consider. For anti-spyware I use the free versions of Spybot S&D, Ad-aware, Spyware Blaster and I used the paid version of CounterSpy from Sunbelt which is highly recommended (and now owns Kerio).

Like you, I at one time used the suite that my ISP (Charter) offered. It was from F-Secure and branded by Charter and while fine was resource intensive.
