Resolved please insert a disk into drive d

    Hello, I am bothered with this message:
    when I insert a disk.

    I tried to unistalled it and reinstall it but useless.
    System: WIN XP SP3.

    A good chance that the drive has failed - it is not recognising that a disk has been inserted. You have checked with other disks that are known to be good?

    You could try cleaning the drive - particularly the lens with canned air or a cleaning disk.

    If you can try the drive in another computer that would give confirmation of failure.

    We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :) No idea if we are talking desktop or laptop.
