Physical Location of Recycle Bin on C: Drive

    I inadvertantly deleted the VMM32.vxd file. This is the file which loads all of
    the device drivers for Windows ME. Needless to say, the computer will no longer load windows. I am able to get a DOS prompt using a start up disk. I would like to restore the file from the recycle bin to the system directory using dos commands, but I am not sure of where the recycle bin is located on the c: drive.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hello klarsen,

    Its a hidden folder on the C drive called Recycle

    Forgot: Bring up the drive > Tools > Folder options > View tab and tick show hidden files and folders.
