Installed three sticks 128MB PC 133 Ram on my Amptron 3726(M)T PII 400Mhz computer. Used Everest to admire my work:) and notice it indicated Physical Address Extension was supported by OS and CPU but not active. What is it, do I need to activate it, if so how do I?

    Other info about computer:

    Video: Radeon 7000 w/64MB RAM
    HDD: 6 GB

    Thanks for any advice

    Mitch

You were probably better off not asking :D .....

It's an Intel 'thing', although under Properties on my AMD powered computer it is listed ....

    Operating Systems and PAE Support

Basically if you don't have more than 4 Gb RAM forget it :)
