I get a pop up from a singles agency showing head and sholder shots of 'singles' available in my area (I am married and 81 so what the ?) running at the same time as I am going into my emails. I have looked for a delete sign or a tab I can close, but nothing. This only comes on when I look at my list of emails.

Just managed to get back on this PC to run Malwarebytes,
Carried out Step 1 'Getting Started' I now have the logs in Notepad.
Having problems with Step 2. Tried to download Main Mirror, to get GMER, too many options came up, found Rootkit/Malware but seemed to have tied myself in nots.
Where have I gone wrong? and what do I do now please?.
I don't seem to have the pop-ups now.

Correction to last message re Popups, I STILL GET THE POPUPS, they are small pictures of men or women scanning accross a small window to the right of my email window, suggesting I may like to choose a 'Single' from the men or women in my area. The answer is NO but as mentioned in my introduction to this thread, There is no way I can cancel the popups, I thought the Malware scan would have done that.

Hi Spanner. As Bill said, please follow the instructions by Arie in post #2 and create a new thread. That way you will be able to receive the proper assistance with your malware problem. You won't be able to get any help with your issue posting in this thread.
