Resolved Permission not granted

I have run into the problem of Administration control it seems.
I am the only person to use this laptop but now can't access folders and pictures show with a lock symbol on them.

Can somebody please help me get back into Administrative control.

The solution I found was to right click EACH folder /Properties/Security/Change Permissions/Full Control/Apply/OK

A rather tedious task but well worth the effort.
I got myself into this mess so have to work my way out of it....given time haha.
Anyway the info might be useful for others.
